While Aquarius season encouraged us to imagine new possibilities and plant the seeds of a new future, Pisces season reminds us of the inherent perfection of the present moment. The Sun entering Pisces, the last sign of the Zodiac, guides us into a realm where time and space don’t exist as we normally conceive them. Pisces season welcomes us into a liminal space where endings are gateways that blur into beginnings, where what is dissolving hasn’t disappeared yet, and what is emerging has not yet taken form.
Sun enters Pisces: Releasing the Need for Certainty and Control
When the Sun travels through Pisces, we are asked to move away from linear progress and tangible outcomes, and we become more sensitive to the invisible currents that shape our reality. During Pisces season, all boundaries become more permeable, the veil between worlds gets thinner, and previously unconscious content may emerge into consciousness.

During Pisces season 2026, we will experience a Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo and a New Moon in Pisces. On March 3, the Lunar Eclipse at 12º51’ of Virgo brings a potent opportunity for purging and purification. This Eclipse, happening on the Lunar South Node, asks us to let go of everything that doesn’t serve us: habits, routines, patterns, ideas, and expectations that burden us and hold us back.
In Virgo, the focus is on becoming aware of how we attempt to control life through perfectionism, excessive analysis, or constant self-improvement. Around this time, we have an opportunity to notice whether we are overly focused on details at the expense of meaning and whether we have confused being constantly busy with being of service.
On March 18, a New Moon in the late degrees of Pisces closes the Eclipse portal and begins a lunar month centered around renovating our relationship with the unseen, our spiritual practice, and the Divine. After the release catalyzed by the Lunar Eclipse in Virgo, we have an opportunity to learn to stay present with the empty space that has been created without immediately filling it up with external activities and things to do. This New Moon reminds us that not everything needs to be understood in order to be meaningful and invites us to cultivate faith in the organic timing of life.
Pisces season 2026: Endings are Gateways
We enter Pisces season shortly after the Eclipse portal has opened: the two-week period between two Eclipses is a very mystical and fated time of the year, during which the usual rules seem not to work and something in the air feels suspended, in-between. These days, time can feel distorted, emotions intensified, and all events that take place are infused with strong symbolic meaning.
The invitation to slow down and turn inwards is even more pronounced this year. This is not a moment to push forward and try to achieve something through effort: it is a time to pause and question what the Universe is asking of us, what we are supposed to learn, and what is coming to completion.
We may not yet be able to clearly articulate what is taking place, what is quietly dissolving: during Pisces season, clarity can feel elusive, which is uncomfortable for the rational mind. The goal these days is not to get immediate answers but rather to learn to stay present with the questions and allow the meaning of what we are experiencing to reveal itself when the time is right.
