On November 26, 11:11 AM —

On December 4, 2025, 6:13 PM EST, we experience the last Full Moon of the calendar year: a Super Full Moon in Gemini. Happening at 13º03’ of the sign of the Twins, this Super Full Moon offers us an opportunity to see with more clarity the impact of the stories we tell ourselves and the narratives that shape our perception of reality.

This December Super Full Moon is not only the final Full Moon of 2025, it is also the last chapter of this year’s Supermoon trilogy. After October’s ignition and November’s awakening, this third lunation completes the arc, bringing something full circle emotionally, mentally, or spiritually.

What makes this moment even more remarkable is its position within a rare astronomical cycle known as the Major Lunar Standstill, a phenomenon that causes the Moon to reach extreme heights in the sky roughly every 18–19 years. Because of this geometry, the December 4 Supermoon becomes one of the highest-rising Full Moons we will witness until the 2042, appearing brighter, closer, and more elevated overhead than usual.

This heightened lunar ascent symbolizes a lifting of perspective, a culmination that invites us to see our lives from a broader vantage point, connect the dots, and recognize the meaning behind the journey we have walked throughout the year.

The Full Moon in Gemini is particularly relevant for people born with planets or angles in Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces). These individuals are more likely to access a new level of understanding that allows them to shift their perspective in a significant way. They have an opportunity to gain new insights into their reality, the meaning of recent events, and the path ahead.

We invite you to watch our hour long video on our YouTube channel together with Nina where she walks us through the powerful energies of this Super Full Moon in Gemini.

Super Full Moon in Gemini: Recognizing the Validity of Multiple Perspectives

Full Moons are the peak point of the lunar month, a time when what was hidden is revealed and we can reap the rewards of our efforts. When the Moon directly faces the Sun, forming a 180º angle from our perspective on Earth, the tension between our conscious desires and our unconscious needs is emphasized.

Full Moons shed light on our emotional world, offering us an opportunity to acknowledge, express, and release what has been building up emotionally and energetically. Super Full Moons do so in a particularly powerful way: as the Moon appears to be bigger and brighter from our perspective on Earth, the tides are stronger and our emotions feel more intense and urgent than usual.

As the Gemini Full Moon rises over the horizon, something comes full circle. The calendar year is coming to a close, and we have an opportunity to become aware of something previously hidden from our conscious awareness. Under the light of a Gemini Full Moon, curiosity leads the way: this event highlights the importance of asking better questions, staying open to multiple perspectives, and allowing new information to reshape our perception, beliefs, and narratives.

Super Full Moon in Gemini: the Last Full Moon of 2025

Every Full Moon highlights the dance between two opposing and complementary signs. These days, the Gemini-Sagittarius polarity takes center stage. This is the axis of learning, language, and meaning-making, through which we strive to understand, classify, articulate, and attribute meaning to our experiences.

Sagittarius is connected to the right hemisphere of the brain and the function of intuition, while Gemini is associated with the left hemisphere of the brain and rational thinking. While Gemini gathers data and information from the immediate environment, Sagittarius connects with the bigger picture and the broader context in which we are immersed. Together, these signs allow us to understand ourselves, our surroundings, and reality as a whole.

These days, the opposition between the Sun in Sagittarius and the Moon in Gemini invites us to practice holding contrasting truths at once and allow contradictions to exist, embracing paradox rather than trying to solve it.

As the calendar year comes to a close, the Full Moon in the sign of the Twin reminds us of the value of learning and the importance of not being too rigid in our worldview, beliefs, and perspectives. This event shines a light on thoughts, conversations, and situations that emerged earlier in the lunar cycle and especially while Mercury was retrograde, offering us an opportunity to access more clarity and understanding of the meaning and purpose of what we experienced.

Full Moon opposite Venus and Mars

The Full Moon in Gemini is in wide opposition to both Venus and Mars in Sagittarius, as well as True Black Moon Lilith, tightly conjunct Venus. These oppositions highlight the tension between what we need and what we desire and lower our tolerance for frustration and delays.

The conjunction between Venus and Black Moon Lilith, both widely conjunct with the Sun, increases our need for intense connections and intimacy. This alignment emphasizes our need for radically authentic relationships where all parts of ourselves are free to be expressed. Lilith’s activation could bring up desires that we may have suppressed, rejected, or judged and invite us to reconnect with our instinct and our wild nature.

The opposition to the Moon can highlight the tension between our need for comfort and emotional safety and our desire for relationships that are real, raw, and rooted in truth rather than pleasing, comfort, or performance.

Mars’s activation can trigger a surge in our tendency to speak without thinking, make impulsive decisions, and overreact. In Sagittarius, Mars is drawn to fight for what he believes is right and true. Opposing the Full Moon, this combination of energies can reflect a tendency to fight unnecessary ideological battles that drain us and lead us further away from our needs. Anger and other emotions we usually keep under control could come to the surface.

The Mars-Moon opposition asks for honest emotional expression and will make it hard to hide how we truly feel. This aspect highlights the importance of expressing our needs, saying no when necessary, and setting boundaries before we reach the point of emotional overwhelm and react destructively and disproportionately.

Super Full Moon in Gemini

Full Moon square the Lunar Nodes

The Moon in Gemini and the Sun in Sagittarius are exactly squaring the Nodes of the Moon in Pisces and Virgo. This configuration increases the karmic significance of this Full Moon and of the events that take place around this time.

The Lunar Nodes are points of destiny, karmic lessons, and evolution: they illustrate our collective evolutionary direction and illustrate qualities we are being asked to consciously integrate in order to grow and break repetitive cycles. With the North Node in Pisces, the invitation for us is to surrender control, avoid micromanaging our days, and find ways to create a sense of order in our lives without becoming excessively rigid and detached from the present moment.

Both luminaries are now squaring the Nodes, activating the four Mutable signs. The Mutable cross is all about learning: it teaches us to be flexible, curious, open to change and new experiences, yet discerning. With the four Mutable signs activated, we are being asked to find ways to harmonize logic and intuition, surrender and effort, faith and discernment, and we have an opportunity to examine how the stories we unconsciously tell ourselves are shaping our path and our lives.

This Super Full Moon could illuminate inner conflicts that have been going on under the surface for a while. What happens these days carries a strong symbolic meaning: events and conversations are likely to feel unusually charged, and the decisions we make now could have an unexpected long-term impact.

Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus are forming a Kite pattern

As the Full Moon in Gemini peaks, Mercury, the ruler of the sign, is in Scorpio, forming a Grand Water Trine with Jupiter in Cancer and Saturn in Pisces. Uranus is in Taurus and opposing Mercury, which creates what is known as a Kite pattern.

Mercury has stationed direct on November 29 and is now in the post-shadow phase of the recent retrograde cycle that started in Sagittarius on November 9. As the Messenger travels for the third and final time on the degrees where the retrograde happened, we have an opportunity to integrate and digest what took place in the past weeks.

The Grand Water Trine that Mercury participates in offers us an opportunity to blend emotional intelligence with intellectual depth and gain a deeper and more thorough understanding of our emotional and psychological makeup. This configuration softens our defenses and helps us relate consciously to the emotions that arise.

Uranus’s opposition to Mercury can facilitate sudden awakenings and access to new insights: previously hidden information could come to light and disrupt our plans, beliefs, and stories about ourselves, other people, or our reality. This opposition helps us break free from rigid thinking and patterns that keep us stuck, circling in the same loops over and over again: what arises may be inconvenient but also profoundly liberating.

Super Full Moon in Gemini: Invitation to Stay Curious

As the Gemini Super Full Moon peaks, a new understanding of reality becomes accessible. These days, what felt confusing or uncertain could begin to reveal its underlying pattern, allowing us to recognize a thread we can follow, maybe a thread connecting our past to the present and the future, or a thread connecting our inner and outer realities. What is illuminated by this Super Full Moon could guide us toward a new perspective of ourselves or life, and help us gain clarity about the path ahead.

The Gemini Full Moon is a reminder that our truth isn’t the only truth, our opinions aren’t the absolute truth: this event emphasizes the importance of being aware of the difference between a belief and a fact and invites us to stay open to perspectives and ideas that are different from ours. This event encourages us to be curious and to stay oriented toward learning and growth rather than toward being right or having everything figured out.
