On October 30, 08:37 AM —

On November 5, 2025, 08:19 AM EST, a Super Full Moon at 13º22’ of Taurus illuminates the night sky and invites us to focus on grounding amidst the changes that are taking place both internally and externally.

This Super Full Moon is the brightest and closest to Earth of 2025, appearing larger, fuller, and more radiant than any other Moon of the year. Its amplified light magnifies both the beauty and the intensity of our inner world, heightening emotions and deepening the call to reconnect with what truly sustains us.

This is the second in a trilogy of Super Full Moons that will unfold until the end of the calendar year. Super Full Moons occur when the Moon reaches her perigee, her closest point to Earth in orbit, and for this reason, they are felt more intensely. During a Super Full Moon, the Moon appears bigger and brighter in the sky, and her gravitational pull on the tides is stronger. Since we are made of about 70% water, our inner emotional tides are also affected by this event, offering us an opportunity to become more skilled at navigating our emotional waves.

The Super Full Moon in Taurus is particularly relevant for people born with personal placements in Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius). This event could catalyze significant shifts in their lives and shake them out of complacency or stagnation. They may be asked to release attachments that don’t support their growth and find new ways to create stability and security, first and foremost within themselves.

We invite you to watch our hour long video on our YouTube channel together with Nina where she walks us through the powerful energies of this Super Full Moon in Taurus.

Full Moon in Taurus: Learning When to Let Go

Full Moons are moments of culmination and completion. When the Sun fully illuminates the Moon’s surface, we have an opportunity to see more clearly what is moving within our inner world. Full Moons bring our emotions front and center and offer us an invitation to relate to them consciously, rather than allowing them to take control over us. At this time of the month, the Sun and the Moon are across each other from our perspective on Earth, forming a 180º angle technically known as an opposition.

Oppositions allow us to access clarity and recognize the dance between opposing and complementary polarities. This month, the signs of Taurus and Scorpio are activated, and we have an opportunity to examine the relationship between building foundations and destroying them, resisting change and embracing it, holding on and letting go.

During Scorpio season, a time of the year focused on deepening our personal transformation journey and becoming more aware of the nature of our desires and of the energetic exchanges in our lives, the Full Moon in Taurus invites us to come back to our bodies, ground, and bring our focus toward our personal skills, resources, and talents.

Grounding Amidst Change

In Taurus, the Moon is traditionally considered to be exalted: here, lunar qualities such as receptivity, softness, and emotional attunement are expressed with ease. The Moon in Taurus needs comfort, warmth, and nourishment: this combination of energies helps us get in touch with our needs and reminds us of the importance of taking care of our inner child with patience and kindness.

The current Full Moon in the sign of the Bull reminds us to nurture what sustains us and make sure our basic needs are met. This event invites us to slow down, ground in the present moment, and connect with a sense of inner steadiness and stability amidst internal and external changes. The activation of the Taurus-Scorpio polarity highlights both our desire for change and our resistance to it. Around this time, we have an opportunity to refine our capacity to tell when it is time to preserve what we already built and when instead it is time to let it go and transform.

Full Moon opposite True Black Moon Lilith

The Taurus Full Moon is opposing True Black Moon Lilith, which is conjunct with the Sun in Scorpio. True Black Moon Lilith is the point of the Moon’s orbit that is further away from Earth. For this reason, when a Full Moon is opposing Lilith it is in the area of the Moon’s orbit that is closer to Earth, hence it is a Super Full Moon.

The True Black Moon Lilith has to do with our raw, wild, and instinctual nature. It is the untamed side of the feminine, the aspect of the feminine that chooses truth and authenticity over approval, conformity, and comfort. This energy has been shamed and repressed for millennia, and for this reason we need to learn how to cultivate it consciously from the ground up.

Working with Lilith means working on integrating parts of ourselves we have exiled because we felt ashamed of them, because they were shamed and demonized. Anger and sexuality are strongly connected with Lilith, and creating a more intentional relationship with them is crucial to empower ourselves.

Around the time of this Full Moon, the polarity between two faces of the feminine are being highlighted. On the one hand, the Moon in Taurus represents the nurturing, soft, and maternal feminine, on the other hand, Lilith in Scorpio represents the wild, instinctual, and raw feminine. This opposition asks us to integrate both polarities and pay attention to whether we are drawn to gravitate toward one and deny, fear, project, or repress the other.

Venus squares Jupiter and Pluto

As the Taurus Full Moon peaks, Taurus’s ruler Venus is in the late degrees of Libra, squaring both Jupiter in Cancer and Pluto in Aquarius. The New Moon in Libra of October 21 was also taking place on the 28º degree of the sign, almost exactly where Venus is now placed. This indicates that the themes we started to work with at the beginning of the current lunar cycle are still very present and we may experience a turning point or reach clarity around them on this Full Moon.

Moreover, Venus, just like the recent New Moon in Libra, is squaring Jupiter in Cancer and Pluto in Aquarius. The Venus-Pluto square adds more intensity to our relationships and increases our desire for passion and depth. This aspect exposes what has been hidden beneath the surface of consciousness and asks us to meet the fears that cause a need to control and manipulate others. The Venus-Pluto alignment asks us to allow our relationships and the depth of our intimacy with others to transform us.

Meanwhile, the Venus-Jupiter square invites us to notice whether we feel tempted to over-give, over-spend, over-indulge, and be excessively generous, while unconsciously expecting to receive something in return or achieve an outcome. This aspect supports our ability to connect with the abundance that is naturally available to us as well as our willingness to share with others what we have.

Venus is forming a Yod with Neptune and Uranus and opposes Chiron

Venus is also forming two inconjuncts with Neptune in Pisces and Uranus in Gemini, as well as an opposition to Chiron in Aries. The resulting configuration, technically known as a Boomerang Yod, also resembles the alignments that were present on the New Moon in Libra, two weeks ago.

Venus’s opposition with Chiron continues and deepens the healing process we started back then. The focus is on wounds that affect our relationships, our way of being in relationship with others but also on how we relate with ourselves. Themes of self-worth and self-love may emerge and offer us an opportunity to tend to the parts of ourselves that learned to equate love with pain.

The inconjuncts between Venus, Neptune, and Uranus are an opportunity to acknowledge how lack of reciprocity, imbalances, and self-abandonment have shaped our relationships, leading us to feel resentful and taken advantage of. Patterns of sacrifice and over-responsibility could come to the surface. These days, we will feel a growing urge to liberate ourselves from situations that aren’t supporting our health and wellbeing, reclaim our energy, and stop carrying what is not ours to carry.

Full Moon in Taurus: Living in Alignment with Our Natural Rhythms

The Full Moon in Taurus invites us to slow down and make the necessary changes to honor our natural rhythms and live in alignment with our true needs. This event reminds us that stability doesn’t come from control, but from cultivating trust in ourselves, in our resilience, in Life’s timing, and in our ability to adapt to change.

At this time, we are being asked to honor both our softness and our wild nature, to embrace the part of us that wants peace and comfort as well as the part of us that refuses to settle and feel confined.

With Mars and Mercury in Sagittarius and opposing Uranus as the Full Moon peaks, many of us will feel drawn to make drastic decisions, have important conversations, and commit to be radical in following what is true and authentic for us. Nevertheless, this Full Moon keeps asking us to turn inward and connect with the place within us that is stable and unchangeable amidst any changes that may unfold.

As the brightest Supermoon of the year rises, the Taurus Moon meets the Sun in Scorpio in a dance of earth and water, body and soul. This alignment calls you to soften into presence, to trust the rhythm of your breath, and to let your heart be illuminated by both tenderness and truth. Transformation doesn’t always come through effort, sometimes it unfolds through surrender.
