On March 12, 05:55 AM —

On March 18, 2026, 9:23 PM EST, a New Moon at 28º26’ of Pisces begins a new lunar cycle.  This event is the first New Moon that is not an Eclipse since the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aquarius. For this reason, it closes the Eclipse window and offers us an invitation to begin the journey of integrating everything we experienced in the past month.

We are not supposed to have all the answers now: the Pisces New Moon reminds us that seeds grow in the dark and the first stages of their growth are not visible to the eye. This New Moon does not demand immediate action but rather invites us to deepen our receptivity and refine our alignment with what is True before we set an intention, act on a vision, or make a move.

This New Moon will be felt more personally by those of us born with personal placements in the late degrees of Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces) and in the early degrees of Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn). They are going through a threshold moment in their lives, experiencing both endings and beginnings simultaneously.

These people are invited to trust that what is dissolving is making space for something more aligned with who they are becoming: they are being asked to release the old with grace and be very intentional about what they are initiating.

We invite you to watch our YouTube energy update with Nina as she guides us through the deeper energies of this New Moon in Pisces.

New Moon in Pisces: Endings Blend with New Beginnings

Once a month, New Moons offer us an opportunity to start fresh and begin anew in one or more areas of our lives. New Moons are moments of renewal, a time to plant seeds for the future, clarify our intentions, and make sure we move toward a meaningful direction. At this time of the month, the Moon is still invisible from our perspective: darkness invites us to go inward, to the quiet, fertile space where seeds begin to come to life.

New Moons occur when the Sun and the Moon meet on the same degree of the same Zodiac sign, forming a perfect conjunction, a 0º angle from our perspective on Earth. This month, the Sun and the Moon meet in the late degrees of Pisces, toward the very end of the Zodiac wheel. Pisces is the alpha and the omega, the place where everything ends and begins, where we all come from and where we are all going. This sign rules the unseen, mystical dimension of life, a place where boundaries do not exist, where we surrender our personal will and ego to forces much greater than us.

A chapter of our journey is coming to completion and, simultaneously, a new one is starting. As the Sun and the Moon meet in Pisces, they  remind us that time is not linear, that endings are often blended with new beginnings, and that seeds need darkness in order to grow.

New Moon in Pisces 2026: Cultivating Trust in the Unseen

A New Moon in Pisces is not as energizing and action-oriented as many other New Moons. This one is less about setting rigid goals and outcome-oriented intentions and more about coming to a place of stillness and presence, making sure we act in alignment with how we aspire to feel, with the inner state we wish to cultivate.

We are entering a lunar month focused on creating a new relationship with Spirit, with the Divine, and renovating the way we approach and integrate our spiritual practice in our everyday life.  These days, our sensitivity is heightened, we feel more impacted by everything happening in the collective field, and more information comes through in dreams or reaches us through symbolism and synchronicities.

Since Pisces rules the pineal gland and the production of melatonin, our oneiric life takes a central role during this lunar cycle. Our dreams are more vivid and filled with relevant messages and information from our unconscious and beyond that can help us understand in what direction to move. Ultimately, the Pisces New Moon is an invitation to cultivate trust in the unseen, in our intuition, in divine timing, and in all those processes the rational mind can’t grasp.

New Moon conjunct Saturn and Neptune in Aries

The Sun and the Moon in the late degrees of Pisces are conjunct both Neptune, the modern ruler of Pisces and of this New Moon, and Saturn in the early degrees of Aries. Saturn and Neptune have been conjunct for several months. However, Saturn is now separating from Neptune, and the two planets have entered their New Phase: this means they have begun a new 36-year cycle, and they are in the very early stages of it. The Saturn-Neptune new phase conjunction is a potent time to plant new seeds, pursue new visions, begin new endeavors, start walking unfamiliar paths, and discover new possibilities.

The activation of the Saturn-Neptune conjunction on this New Moon is an invitation to set something completely new into motion. This alignment asks us to assert ourselves with maturity and to take full responsibility for ourselves and our dreams. As we are dealing with Neptune, a very mystical planet, and Saturn, a very pragmatic one, we are being asked to ground our visions in reality and dream with our eyes open and our feet well planted on the Earth. This is a time to bring new visions into form, while making sure we do so through devotion rather than force.

New Moon sextile Uranus and Pluto

The Sun and the New Moon in Pisces are also sextile both Uranus in the late degrees of Taurus and Pluto in the early degrees of Aquarius. The sextile to Uranus fosters innovation and supports our ability to creatively adapt to change. Also referred to as the Great Awakener, Uranus rules sudden flashes of genius, downloads, insights, and visions that allow us to jump from a timeline to another in matters of seconds. Uranus’s harmonious alignment with this New Moon facilitates the process of materializing our visions and setting something radically new into motion during the upcoming lunar cycle.

The Sun and the Moon are also in a wider sextile aspect to Pluto, the planet ruling the deepest transformational processes, now in Aquarius. Pluto’s activation invites profound emotional and psychological self-work and helps us access a deeper understanding of our and others’ true motives, intentions, and desires. The sextile between the New Moon and Pluto increases the transformative potential of this event, both on a collective level and for each of us personally. In Aquarius, Pluto reminds us that personal and collective healing are not separate, and one naturally ripples into the other, into the larger web of relationships and communities we are part of.

Jupiter square Venus, trine Mars, and trine retrograde Mercury

As the Pisces New Moon peaks, Jupiter, the ancient ruler of Pisces, is now in Cancer, and forming a tight square with Venus in Aries. This alignment fosters a general feeling of warmth and optimism while inviting us to be mindful of the dangers of over-generosity. The Venus-Jupiter square can emphasize the friction between our preferences and our needs, and highlights the importance of nourishing ourselves before we nourish others.

Jupiter is also trine Mars and retrograde Mercury, both in Pisces. The Jupiter-Mars alignment supports our energy levels, our willingness to act on our ideals and visions, and our desire to pursue the path of growth. This trine fosters our courage and our ability to pair it with the emotional wisdom we have been gaining during Jupiter’s transit through Cancer. Meanwhile, the trine between retrograde Mercury and Jupiter inspires us to look at something from a radically different perspective and could fuel the emergence of new intuitive insights and ideas.

Moreover, retrograde Mercury is exactly conjunct with the North Node, which increases the chances of having transformative conversations, coming across significant information, and experiencing karmic everyday encounters that have the potential to impact the trajectory of our lives.

New Moon in Pisces: Seeds Grow in the Dark

Pisces, the last sign of the Zodiac, reminds us that endings and beginnings are one and the same. These days, we have an opportunity to gain a clearer awareness of what is meant to be consolidated and what is meant to be dissolved, what is meant to be created and what is meant to be released. We are being asked to trust that what we surrender is not lost, everything we let go of is making space for something more meaningful, something more aligned with our authentic self. As old identities and ambitions dissolve, new longings and desires may begin to arise, quietly, still in an undefined form.

A New Moon in Pisces always invites us into a liminal space, a place where the threshold between what is ending and what is beginning is not clear, a place where what has been still coexists with what is taking shape. This event emphasizes the importance of attunement and receptivity before taking action and reminds us that creation begins in the unseen realm, in the world of imagination and endless possibilities. It also highlights the fact that healing and growth don’t happen in a straight line but rather in spirals. The Pisces New Moon reminds us that progress can’t be rushed, that seeds grow in the dark, that they need time to sprout, and that when it looks like nothing is happening, a lot is going on beneath the surface.
